AI can be used for good and evil ways, ultimately AI must be used for both as any invention in human history, a pillow was meant for comfort but it can also be used to suffocate someone to death, same case for AI wherein it's up to the user's ethics and where they'll use it for that'll dictate it's purpose, and nowadays as war becomes even more deadlier, i would much rather a computer die than a human being.

Yes, but only if the military is under constant, heavy discipline and authority of a civilian body. The use of Artificial Intelligence in military weaponries risk preventing the protected right of military personnel and officials to oppose illegitimate orders, and if it will be integrated to increase military effectiveness and technical edge, there must be a way to counterbalance such a system.
